Implementation & Compliance Manual

Client Onboarding & A2P Compliance Guide

Every contractor account must be deployed with strict carrier compliance. Follow this guide to configure sub-accounts, submit A2P brand registrations, and verify opt-in safeguards before activating SMS workflows.

Mandatory Carrier Rule

Never state that a website or checkbox makes a business automatically A2P compliant. Do not activate SMS merely because a workflow has been created. Each client must achieve carrier approval before live automated texting starts.

1. Sub-Account & Infrastructure Setup

Establish Isolated Client Sub-Account

Create an independent sub-account for the plumber, HVAC, roofer, or electrician. Never combine client contacts with agency records or another contractor's account.

1. Sub-Account & Infrastructure Setup

Provision Local Dedicated Phone Number

Assign a local phone number in the client's service area code. Verify call forwarding to the client's office or dispatch ring group.

2. Business Identity & A2P 10DLC Registration

Collect Real Legal Entity Credentials

Obtain the client's exact legal registered business name, EIN (or tax ID), official business address, authorized representative contact, and website URL.

2. Business Identity & A2P 10DLC Registration

Submit A2P Brand in Client Trust Center

Submit brand registration matching the state entity filing. Status must transition through: Draft → Registration Pending → Approved.

2. Business Identity & A2P 10DLC Registration

Submit Campaign Use Case with Verified Opt-In Evidence

Select Customer Care / Mixed use case. Include exact screenshots of the client's live website contact form showing explicit opt-in text, Privacy Policy link, and Terms of Service link.

3. Consumer Policies & Consent Architecture

Deploy Client-Specific Privacy Policy & Terms

Ensure the client's live website hosts a substantive Privacy Policy containing the required mobile non-sharing language, naming THAT client business (not Growth Flow Pro).

3. Consumer Policies & Consent Architecture

Implement Separate, Optional Consent Checkboxes

On all web intake forms, provide optional, unchecked boxes separating informational/transactional messaging from promotional texts.

4. Workflow Configuration & Testing

Configure Informational Missed-Call Response Template

Ensure the template includes the client's business name, service question, and mandatory STOP/HELP instructions. Suppress duplicate replies and enforce quiet hours (9pm-8am).

4. Workflow Configuration & Testing

Perform End-to-End Live Inbound Test

Call the number, simulate a missed call, verify delivery of the informational text, test replying STOP (ensure instant suppression), and verify test call transfer to staff.

4. Workflow Configuration & Testing

Activate SMS Workflows Only Post-Approval

Do NOT toggle SMS automations live until campaign status shows APPROVED and test verification succeeds.

Checklist progress is stored locally for deployment tracking during onboarding calls.
